The Nexus 7 is a great option. $200 gets you the 16GB version. It's a great tablet in general, plus you get Android updates faster than most since it come right from Google.
Galaxy 2 has 8gb but does support up to 32gb sdcard.
I have the galaxy 2 10.1 and if u r familiar with Android layout and like it then its a great device, and u will finally be able to get on whatsapp

Yeah, that's another reason. And regrettably, I'm unfamiliar with Android (my kids have iPod Touches generation 4) but I'm smart enough to know it's Android or that, lol :)
Android is really good and very customisable a lot more flexible than apple, I think u would be suitably impressed with a galaxy or note

In the end (thanks, dni!) I opted to pay a little more and get a 32gb Nexus 7 @ $249 a piece (one for me, one for the better half). And two Otterbox cases for them @ $52 a piece. That's my single splurge from Ye Ole EFile tax return on "me/we" stuff --- the rest go to those damn, pesky bills that seem to pile up! :)
Ordered @ Newegg (Nexus) with Shop Runner Free S/H and the cases (since NE didn't stock'em) from Amazon with Free Super Saver shipping.
Those damn cases are worth their weight in gold --- two iPod Touch Gen 4 units still 100% after two years that we got the kids who are 9 and 10 (though each has had two Otterbox cases thus far; still one a year @ $25-30 to preserve a $250 Touch makes it a no-brainer).
Great choice mate the nexus is by far the best 7 inch tablet you can buy but if there is anything you need to know just holla, and there easy to root too :)
