Nexus 7 FTW. Santa brought my kids each one for Xmas. Brilliant tablet. Well worth more than the $200 santa paid for each.

I'm still hoping that Google Fiber will be available at my house sometime soon. With the TV and Internet package, they give you a Nexus 7 tablet "free" (with 2-year contract) to act as your "remote".

When taxes come in, I'll be picking up a new Mac Mini so I can try to get back into iOS app programming, and with it, since I need a device for testing, I'll be picking up an iPad Mini (only $30 more than the cheapest model of iPod Touch, so figure why the hell not).

I can understand that. But since my library is Apple based, and I've owned an iPod Touch in one form or another since 2008, I've gotten used to it. I wrote a few iOS apps in 2009 and had them out in the wild, and would usually sell well enough to keep paying the $100 licensing fee each year to keep it going, but I went from my best month in Jan 2012 (over 700 units sold) to my worst Jan ever in 2013 with only 10 units sold. So I need to get more apps out there if I want that extra income flowing in.

A few simple calculators. Probably would be easy to port, if I knew what language is used to write android apps. I've never really researched it.
