The Quick Reply button is a win for those of use who reply a lot. The OP of the suggestion to do away with the button has 3 posts.

I would like to see a "New Replies" link, we have a "New Posts" button in 2 places.

It would be good to have a new replies link we can see when people reply to our posts easier.

This feature is in many other forums I use and it seems easier to look after those coversations as a priority, then move onto the rest .

This is something that only someone very high up can do. What about putting a limit on how many threads a person can start in any given time period. Obviously it wouldn't effect us as we just reply to them and mods have the ability to overwrite any limitation anyway.

There is no question that the browser timeout issue is going around alot, and i think most of us know and understand that. The problem is a person either decides to start a new thread because he didnt get an answer or the person starts many threads that make it problematic in trying to help them because relevant info given in previous posts is lost, or they more or less burry other threads by doing this.

Nevermind, this is already here. When clicking the UserCP it shows me my subscribed threads.

    Cheers.

    Submit Articles section: Reply Approvals

Would it be feasible to remove the restriction, requiring mod approval, for replies in the submit article section? The restriction on newly submitted posts would, and should, remain intact. If it's not a possibility no worries.

Two benefits of doing this would include:
    1. It's a bit less work for the mods: Replies in this section don't seem to be any more or less dramatic than in other sections, though I could be mistaken. Cutting out the need to approve every single reply in that forum could save you guys some time.
    2. The wait time on responses for people who have serious questions about the information could be lowered considerably: I recently had a couple questions pop up in an article, one of which was submitted last week, that just got posted today. I replied, but even my replies will need to be approved before they will post.

Like I said, if it's not realistic or if there are particular, and otherwise unavoidable, reasons for having this restriction in place then feel free to ignore this suggestion.

In regards to that. We need to moderate those as to make sure we don't have conflicting guides to things, The moderation of these things helps us as a whole to make sure not just anyone can submit a guide without approval.

The wait times are essesntial as we must moderate guides and responses to guides to make sure that everyone is getting the much needed help they can get from said guides.
