    Itunes is not helping!

Has anyone downgraded an iPhone or iPod touch from 4.3.5? I have tried everything and Itunes will not let me downgrade my ios. I have added a few codes to the host file, I even used Tiny Umbrella, and I get an error code every time.

Make sure the iOS file you downloaded is not corrupted ( i dont know if theres a way to check but you can download it again) I suggest you downgrade to 4.3.3. That is if you can.

Also, make sure you're entering DFU mode. If yu try and see the itunes logo you're doing it wrong. You should see nothing but a black screen.

Why 4.3.3 instead 5.3.3? I make sure it's in DFU mode, I know the difference

Do you have the SHSH blobs? Try extracting them with TinyUmbrella. Do you get the 4.3.3 blobs? If not, you're stuck.

Besides, if you're trying to jailbreak it, it's not worth it yet. There will be an untethered on 5.0, and SHSH blobs will become broken.

Apple isn't signing 4.3.3 blobs anymore... So if she havent saved them, she's out of luck.

Btw, untethered jb for 5.0? Havent heard anything about that

Yeah I think I'm stuck. I got the shsh blobs through tiny umbrella by saving with my 4.3.3 iPod touch. I tried running the TSS server and then I attempted to downgrade, but I always get the same 3194 error. There was one time I was able to bypass this error, but I ended up with another. It's useless.

Does it show a black screen after the restore? Does it ask you to do another restore?

You may be in a DFU loop.

    What was the other error?

While Itunes unpacks the file and authorizes (before installation) my iPod touch remains in DFU, meaning the screen is black the entire time. That other error I cannot recall the code I received.
