Question about Partitioning iPod Touch for WBFS

I know you can partition an iPod for WBFS, but can I partition only a certain part of it? What if I only want 1 gig to be for backup's and the rest for actual iPod stuff. Is this possible.

I googled this already but it was all just about partitioning the whole iPod.

Really? Wow, that's so not cool. Well I guess I'll buy an old crappy iPod nano for it. Thanks man!

Well, I don't have many Wii games (I have like 8) and I'm not going to back up all of them, because a lot I don't really care too much for, so I think an iPod would do the trick. There's no need for a hard drive. Plus I can get an iPod nano from a friend for really cheap, so it seems like the best of decisions.

Jeez... in folks' experience thus far, no one's really gotten this to work. If you're being on the cheap, get a big SDHC or simply stick to burned media.
