    Sheesh. Thanks for the suggestions, however none of them worked out... I even took it to Verizon, and it looks like they might be able to use my previous device to salvage contacts.

    Good to hear it's atleast salvageable. Still find it weird the iPhone just ate your contacts whole. Then again, I've had my fair share of iOS bugs.

    Yep, Verizon was able to recover contacts from my previous device. So there's a last ditch solution for anyone else who may have had that problem.

    Did they recover everything or just most? Don't have an iPhone (iPod Touch for me) or live in the USA, but just wondering?
