Someday We'll Find It, The Bluetooth Connection...

So I was wondering if anyone has tried coming up with a way to Bluetooth the iPhone to the wii to watch Netflix. I just don't want to buy another cable...

Now thats intersting. I dont know if anyone has considered that. I seriously doubt you'll be able to, tbh.

What I've done is tethered a Verizon Wireless blackberry to my laptop, and to my wifes iPad using iBluever w/ OnDemand. It works pretty well.

But I have to jailbreak in order to tether, correct? I'm still not clear on the pros and cons of doing that...

You can Wireless Tether you iphone to any wifi enabled device... GOOGLE IT!!

Ok, so there's this; if I JB the iPhone and tether the wii to it, the Netflix would still have to originate from the iPhone OR I would have to re-hack the wii. This is due to the need to download the non-disc Netflix from the wii shop channel because the disc is no longer supported by Netflix servers; in order to use wii shop channel, I would have to perform wii's system update, in doing so lose the awesomeness of external drive games unless I devote another small chunk of my life to hacking the wii... Again. So is there a way around THAT one, chums?
