Back-Up Problems and Wasabi DX

Hi

I have installed a wasabi dx modchip but it seems it can't read back-up discs, I keep on getting errors. I knew I successfully installed the chip because I was able to go through the configuration settings. The originals is playing fine only the back-ups don't. I have an WII LU64 series with 3.4U firmware. However, I'm using a CMC-Mag DVD+R discs. Please help what I need to do.

You're probably getting these errors because of your DVD Media. Use High quality DVD-R (not DVD+R) and burn at low speeds such as 2.4x; Verbatim DVD-R is recommended.

I'll buy Verbatims -R today, do you know if I need to upgrade the wasabi dx to 2.0 ??

Sorry to hear of your difficulty. Try the Verbatim DVD-R discs using either ImgBurn or Nero burning software just as recommended by ShadowSonic2.
