Hi guys!
I'm new on the forum, as well as the whole wii scene. I just bought a Japanese Wii (since I live in Japan) and have modded it to use System Menu 4.1U using the AnyRegion Changer. So it's fully English now, and it makes it much easier for my wife (even though she can understand quite a bit of Japanese)
I have cIOSCORP 3.5 installed to allow me to play my backup discs without having to use a launcher (since DLCs wont save on my SD card for some reason) and (obviously) the Home Brew Channel.
A brief background on my Wii;
When I first bought it, it came with a (I think) 3.3J System Menu, and due to my noobishness I updated it to 4.2J via System Settings. However, I was able to install HBC using the guide found here, and I was also able to downgrade to 3.2J, using another guide. After that, I changed the system region to US (using AnyRegion Changer) and updated the system to 4.1U. It was only after I realized that my downloaded DLCs wont save onto my SD card that I decided to risk it and install cIOSCORP 3.5.
As of now, the Wii is working nicely. I have to make sure I burn the DVDs well for them to work with the Wii (my burner has a minimum speed of 4x). For stuff that dont work with the Disc Channel, I prefer the NeoGamma Launcher.

I'm sorry, dzul. Legend Fryingpan appears to be a prank spammer. Pay no attention to those posts; I will be deleting them from all over the site.
