Unhappy Hey! New. Stumped and need help with USB loaders!

I softmodded my Wii successfully with Letterbomb, and I can play emulators and Cave Story. However, I haven't been able to even -run- USB loaders. I've read tons of guides and have been at it for a few days, it's taking me forever and I think I'm downright stumped. Every time I seem to find a method that may work, the download links to the USB loader's essential files are dead and there are no mirrors.

Can somebody help me out? I have no idea how these CIOS things work, and I've installed a couple of them (I think?) but it doesn't seem to have made a difference. Of the USB loaders that I have installed, only Neogamma will run (The rest boot me back to the Wii menu or hang) and it refuses to launch the game, counting down from 30 to 24 and then freezing.

I've tried using WAD manager 1.7 but after I select the IOS247, it takes me to a NAND thing and when I select it as "disabled" the manager freezes up, so I can't install IOS' this way it seems.

Don't you already have a thread open about this? Post an introduction thread to get your welcome post with links to the info you need.
Edit - Sorry I didn't realize what section you posted this in. This is just for hello and not trouble shooting. But here is some info to get you started.

    Hello and welcome to

Thank you for joining the best Nintendo Wii modding community there is. Please take time to read the Forum Rules and follow them, this will make your experience here a lot more enjoyable.

We are here to help you with any problems you might have with your modding experience. But please remember to search and research for your problem before posting. Most of the time someone will have the same problem and a solution has been posted already. For help with searching tips you can look at the [GUIDE] Ultimate Searching Tool [Guide]

Now if you want the best guide, in my opinion, to softmod your Wii. Follow the Softmod any Wii Guide, you can also use this guide to update your old softmod.

But before you do have a look at Thinking about hacking a wii? Start here! [A basic introduction to Wii hacking]. This will give you a better understanding of how things work in your Wii.

After you get your console sorted, you will need to find a way to backup your games. The best way is to copy them to an external hard drive or usb flash drive. You can copy them to DVD -r's, but only if your Wii's disc drive is old enough to be capable of reading them. Wii's made after Sept. of 2009 are not able to play backups from disc. You can check the Wii Drive Chip Database to see if yours will play DVD -r's.

BEFORE GETTING A USB DRIVE CHECK THE USB COMPATIBILITY LIST.

The recommended usb drive setup is fat32. Although, you can still use NTFS or WBFS loading.

IF YOU HAVE TROUBLE WITH A PARTICULAR GAME, CHECK THE ULTIMATE LIST OF TROUBLESOME GAMES, TO FIND A FIX FOR IT.

IF YOU HAVE AN ERROR, CHECK THE ERROR INDEX

WiiHacks also has a IRC Chatroom! So you can talk live to members and staff!

First read the IRC Welcome & Rules

All modchip users go to the modchip section.

Also if someone helps you, it is greatly appreciated if you click the thanks button.
You can also show your support to help us keep helping users, by making a small donation.

There are many more guides for homebrew and Wii related fun. Also we have sections for other game systems for those of us that just can't get enough of any one console. I personally have multiple console and handheld game systems. So have fun browsing the site.
