Us I feel like I've been here forever...

    Hello, all.
First of all, I would like to thank those of you who have had the same problems as I, and those of you who have had answers to those said problems.
I have been using this site for the last 2 years, and realized I never registered simply because I never had to ask a question.
Just recently purchased the new iMac, so now that using the computer is a somewhat enjoyable experience, I plan to get involved as best I can.

I am the proud father of 4 children, who are all (God love them) as hard on game disks as any normal 3 to 10 year old (their age spread).

I only wish I had not purchased Super Mario Bros wii 4 times before realizing I could back the game up.

The poor fellow at the local used game store noticed after the fourth time, and the numerous times my poor wife had to have the same game "repaired," that I was sinking $50 into a game that I did not have the heart to part my children from. I sighed at him and said, "You know when I was a kid, with my old IBM, the first thing I did with a new game was back it up, lock the original away, and never worry." He waved me back to his office and showed me the wonderful world of usb back up...guess he felt guilty taking my money.

But those kids are constantly keeping me guessing... and I know this is the right place to get answers.
    Regards to all.

And I actually understand that reference, since my wife has told me a little about that book. lol If I read that a week ago, I would have no idea what you were talking about.
