I bought on ebay from a uk seller (my fault) I over looked the part where the seller said its a japenese version, I noticed it after I placed a winning bid...I don't buy consols out of this country normally because of warrenty issues..

you have to understand, every single home system minus the portables have been this way, up to the PS3 =\

and Kinda, once you get and install the chip, you got REGION FREE, meaning you can boot any game from any region real, or back up, also you can download and use twilight princess, and install homebrew channel, then make the NTSC/J to PAL, or if its 3.2 or lower just use a ISO installer disc, and then do that, in the end its only a little more and you get much more

I appreciate what you say..but it has only been since sites like ebay which have exploded in popularity that these issues have come to light, prior to that people tend to have bought in their own country and the people who didn't didn't have these web sites with people such as yourself to help them out.....anyway I digress.
I have one more question for you for now and I'll leave you in peace (you'll only hear from me again if I've done something wrong lol) where do I get the modded chip from and the software (twilight princess or the ISO installer disk)?

uhhh, look at our sponsors one is in europe, and twilight princess is a game that installs the twilight hack *legend of zelda*, and the ISO installer is a special disc, that does what the ISO installer does, but you need 3.2 or lower
