Hey, I'm Mikey Meitbual. I just got a black Wii and StackSmashed it... very pleased with the result. Yeaaaaaaaaaaah. Uh... I've been a gamer for 24 years. Atari at age 4, NES at 6, Sega Genesis at 9, PC at 12, Wii at 28. Well, I had a Wii before but I came on hard times and had to sell it... this black beauty is my baby. :)

I took a long break from gaming and just got back in to it... really looking forward to checking out all the Wii titles. When I'm not playing video games (most of the time), I work as a software developer at a successful dot-com company that was solid before the bubble... Music is my one true love - I play keys in a roots reggae band... even my instruments are modded. I play on through a Leslie 44W on a Hammond M100 that we chopped into 3 pieces to make it portable.

If you need advice or help for anything Wii related you have joined the right site, whether it’s hard or soft modded.

Don’t be shy, ask if you are stuck, just don’t expect other people to do all the work for you.

Before you start anything, make sure you read the rules go over the tutorials, and most importantly, search before asking questions.

2009 Wii Serial numbers after LU3884XXXX and LEH2676XXXX have probably got the new D3-2 chip that prevents playing backup DVD's. They can still use original discs and USB loaders.
Check yours at Wii Drive Chip Database
