Hello to all:
1st off, I know almost nothing about wii modding. Found this site after searching google for a while. Anyway, I have a wii with a mod chip and several backups on discs that work great. The wii was already modded when I got it and the backups came with it. Not sure which chip is in it and would like to find out. Do I need to open the wii?
I have a game iso and burned to dvd-r and the wii recognizes it in the menu but when I choose to play it the screen goes black and I get the 001 error. Am I needing an update or?
I found some other ways to play iso's but unclear about best way to go. Can some one educate me on options? Do I need to even put games on disc? How about an external hd with the usb port?
