    Thanks a MILLION!!!

I first want to say thank you for all of the great reading and resources you have on this site. My story is kind of funny. I ordered a Wii last week and it was supposed to be delivered this week. While I was waiting for it I figured I would look on the web and see IF I could mod it. After coming across this site, I couldnt wait for my Wii to come in the mail. I went to all the pawn shops in town looking for a wii to hack so that I didnt brick my brand new wii. Well I found one with a broken disk drive that they just gave to me! I successfully soft modded it (to an extent still cant get it to play PAL games forced to NTSC) and needless to say, the brand new Wii is still sitting in the box!

    Thanks so much!!

Lucky you. A replacement drive doesn't cost much, or go w1th USB Loader.

Hi and welcome to WiiHacks Anthony

If you need advice or help for anything Wii related you have joined the right site, whether its hard or soft modded.

Don’t be shy, ask if you are stuck, just don’t expect other people to do all the work for you.

Before you start anything, make sure you read the rules go over the tutorials, and most importantly, search before asking questions.

Make sure you post in the correct areas of the forums.

2009 Wii Serial numbers after LU3884XXXX and LEH2676XXXX have probably got the new D3-2 chip that prevents playing backup DVD's. They can still use original discs and USB loaders.

And please do donate to the forum if you are able so we can go on helping the Wii community.

I hope you have a great time here at WiiHacks, and increase your knowledge of all things Wii.
