Unhappy Hello everyone! RE: cIOS38 rev15

I'm not very new to this wii hacking business but I have a problem. I read that cios38 rev15 was released and I downloaded it as well as installed it. Once done, I went to the neogamma r8 beta 7 channel and wanted to play my backup games on my wbfs formatted memory stick. By the way I have a U.S version Wii NTSC 3.2U and I wanted to play Mario Kart Wii PAL and New Super Mario Bros PAL(something that I could do on cios rev14 before installing cios38 rev15) but I get a green screen after loading and even on the Call of Duty Modern Warfare Reflex Edition NTSC. I don't know if it's a problem with the new released cios or what but I really feel foolish for installing it without waiting to see if there were any issues. If anyone knows what's up or if I can have some feedback it would be sincerely appreciated.

cIOS38rev15 is not an official release and should not be used. It causes problems with IOS.
You need to get rev14 reinstalled.
You can try deleting rev15 with anytitle deleter, and reinstalling rev14.
This may work, but you may have to do TBR.

Thanks WiiJohn for your reply! I stayed up all night trying to fix my Wii and adding some new games. I think I fixed it by just plainly reinstalling cios rev 14. I didn't delete rev15 with anytitle deleter or the did the TBR (Trucha Bug Restorer) deal. I just have a last question do you have any idea if cios rev 14 just overwrote cios rev15 (since it's not an official release) and if I should delete any trace of rev15 left in my Wii (if there's any)?

Thanks in advance and I appreciate your response.

I'm glad your install went well. I would have thought rev 14 would write over rev15, but some people have had problems doing that, fortunatley you didn't.

I have no idea what, if any of rev15 is left in your system. If all your features work, then move on but bear it in mind.

maybe someone else can shed some light on rev14 overwriting rev15.

Waninkoko's cIOS installs as IOS249, that's the one you want to delete. But just installing cIOS38 rev14 will overwrite rev15, no need to delete anything. And remember, deleting an IOS lower than IOS200 can brick your wii.

Your most current install will always overwrite what was on there before reguarless if you are updating the cios or downgrading it. To check what version your using, run neogamma and look at the bottom of the main menu. If your back on rev 14, it will say "ios249 (rev14).

Damn you stomp 422. Once again you beat me to the punch.
If I have helped you in any way, please thank me by pressing the little thanks button.

What I meant to say is, it doesn't matter which revision of Waninkoko's cIOS you are installing, they all get installed as IOS249. Every time you install one, it will overwrite the previous one. cIOS36 rev7 will overwrite cIOS38 rev15. I have seen in the past where noobs go and delete IOS38, and that is wrong, do not delete IOS38.
