    Hello and welcome to the wiihacks community.

    I know you are anxious to get started; but, there are a few items to cover before you post your questions or start doing anything to your Wii. If you intend to make software-based modifications of your Wii (softmod), including installation of the Homebrew Channel, DO NOT ACCEPT THE LATEST NINTENDO UPDATE. DO NOT UPDATE TO SYSTEM MENU VERSION 4.2.

    Make sure you read the rules of this site. There are a number of tutorials and guides available to assist you. Make sure to either look through the tutorials or use the search function before asking questions. While the moderators, staff, and members of this community are willing to help you, some effort on your part to read, research, and follow the rules is expected. To get the best response to your question(s), post in the associated forum areas. This is very important as inappropriate posting could get you restricted to the reading room or even banned.

    If this site and our members have provided substantive help, you can Donate to the forum and get a nice banner under your name and gain access to the donator forums.

    Enjoy your stay with us.

    Hi, and welcome to wiihacks.

    ATTENTION: DO NOT ACCEPT THE LATEST NINTENDO UPDATE TO UPDATE TO SYSTEM MENU VERSION 4.2, or risk not being able to run homebrew!

    Before you start anything, make sure you read the rules go over the tutorials, and most importantly,search before asking questions. Make sure you post in the correct areas of the forums, or you could be sent to the reading room (if you want to know what that is, search.), or even banned.

    You could Donate to the forum and get a nice banner under your name, and access to the donater forums, and have a chance to get other items, like Ntorrents Invites.

    We also have an irc chatroom on irc://irc.uicn.net/wiihacks (if you know how to use it it can be marvellous) If you dont have one, chatzilla for firefox is the best and easiest to use irc client. after you install it (its an addon) just click the link at the bottom of my sig and you're in IF YOU DON'T HAVE FIREFOX, GET IT. Please read the irc rules before joining. Hope too see you there!

    I hope you have a great time at wiihacks, and that i see you around!

    regards, ΘΣ

    Tell me again how are you a master 4.2 hacker???? Im sure that you didnt write the tutorial for 4.2 softmodding on virgin and non virgin wiis. Yeah and it seems as though you have asked for some help around on the site as well. I advise our new members to not follow his advice on upgrading to 4.2
    Come to the Irc room to get help or just have fun

    Motivation alone is not enough. If you have an idiot and you motivate him, now you have a motivated idiot.

    Scooby Doo First Frights

    I had the same prob with Scoobie Doo First Frights. I traced the following to work. Hope this helps......

    * Put the disc in the Wii
    * Go into "Backup Launcher" (not sure if all versions will work his way)
    * Just after you press start, press 1 on the Wii remote to get into the "Neo Gama Rev 7" config menu
    * Click REGION OPTIONS
    * Change patch video to ALL
    * Click RETURN TO MENU
    * Click LAUNCH GAME ON DVD

    Works fine for me after that. Hope it does for you.
