Unhappy I suck at this..! Someone help me and Hi!

Ok I have a complete headache trying to figure all these terms out. If anyone could help me that would be so awesome.

I have a Wii that was freshly updated to 4.1u firmware. Right after I did this I got curios about maybe running backups so I looked into softmoding.

I managed to softmod my wii with bannerbomb and hackmii installer. So I now have the home-brew channel.

The next step was to fallow this guys thread that I found on a forum
Ur best option is get waninkokos cios rev 14 installed and use the neogamma rev 7 backup launcher. It run games from disk and USB for sure. It may run them sd too. It runs every game I've tried

I then looked into the cios rev 14 and downloaded a file named
    cIOS38_rev14-Installer.dol

In the read me though it says to "simply put the IOS38-64-v3610.wad into the root of an sd card.

but the file I download was cios38_rev14-Installer.dol there was no .wads included. Im trying to fallow peoples steps but I'm too much of a noob to understand what to do at this point.

Can someone help me figure out what I need and where I need to put it at this point?

Hello and welcome. Simple confusion on what files are called and where they should go:
    1. application folders have a dol file inside.
    2. Create a folder in the Root directory of your SD card named Apps
    3. Put your cIOS38rev14 installer file inside the Apps folder
4.Run the installer from the Homebrew Channel
    5. When you come across any wad files they go into a folder in your Root Directory that you will have named Wad

I suggest that you look at this tutorial: http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...d-any-wii.html. The download link in this tutorial will palce all the files in the correctly named folders after you extract the rar file.

As you have already installed the HBC, you can skip that step, but I think you will need Step 3 in order to play some of the newer games. This tutorial also will give you the link for NeoGammaR7.

Hate to be picky, but correction to step 3,Put your cIOS38rev14 installer folder inside the apps folder.
