Ok, use cISO Downgrader, which can be found here:

    File Details-Custom-IOS-Downgrader-v1.2-Wii-Homebrew -

    Hope this helps!

i hv done all of it, well, almost all. Downgreaded to 3.2E, homebrew channel installed, backup loader installed. just stuck at starfalll, as no matter how many times i press B&1, its not starting the installation, after a while, it display "Failed.. Exiting" and exit to homebrew channel menu. not sure where I am wrong in it. I will try downloading it again, and installing it, just in case the files are not ok.

Thanks a lot for the help and links.

i THINK that you're supposed to press b+2. anyway you're supposed to read the terms and agreements on the tv when you try to install starfall. if you DID read it you would know the right one to press (i really can't remember if its b+1 or 2).

unfortunately you failed the starfall test

also, just as a note you may have to press b+2 about a million times before it gets to the next screen. its still kinda dodgy...

and as for why some CAN run backups on 3.4 and some can't: it's because you can't run MODIFIED backups on 3.4. which means untouched iso's will work but scrubbed, brickblocked, regionfreed disks won't work.

Thanks, I restarted again, from the point after installing homebrew channel, and it all went fine this time, maybe i missed any step earlier.
And I was trying to press B&1 and not 2, as in the read it is written press 1 instead of 2, and the bottom line says press B&2, so that people must read the disclaimer, nice touch!

Thanks a lot for the help guys. I didn't realise that I will get so much help just in my introduction thread! I joined the forum yesterday, and soft mod my wii today, as after getting replies, I got confidence that people are there to help me out!
Now I am downloading a simple 200MB game to test if it all works.

Also, this info that which game works on 3,4 and which not is really good. I hv downgrades my wii to 3.2, so i will stuck to it for the time being. the next step for me is to look for more apps for homebrew channel, as i don't have anything but the required ones like WM, CWM, starfall and shop updator, thats it. I need to browes some more threads i guess.

ah ok so it WAS b+1 sorry i forget

good luck on finding apps and wads. i recommend you look for some wiiware games - they're fun and only about 40mb

i don't get how you found a game only 200mb in size...must have been scrubbed...

yes, i got the "Ninjabread Man" which is in 215MB rar file, expanded to 4.37GB iso. I worked perfectly fine, I used Sony DVD -R with ImgBurn using 2X speed. The game sucks big time though.

Also, got "SPOGS Racing" WiiWare wad and that worked fine as well. So, games are working, WiiWares are working, now its the turn of applications.

Thanks alot for all the help and making me feel comfortable for doing it.

congrats on getting everything to work

and predictably, a 200mb game isn't going to be much fun lol

apps should be easier to figure out than isos and wiiwares - good luck
