    Hello from San Diego

Looking forward to reviewing all the content and getting my wii skills up! I have played nintendo since I was a kid. I remember playing super mario brothers when it first came out and finally beating Don Flamenco, I felt stupid when I realized the pattern! Games kept us busy on bad weather days and challenged our imaginations so when we were outside playing we could make up fun games to play.

Anyhow, I look forward to learning and interacting with all here.

This is great info. I will read it all. So I have already been working with a guy that knows how to do all this stuff and without knowing any better I paid him to mod my wii. I don't mind paying for peoples intell, but with all this free info, paying may have been my first mistake.

I have basically all the working emulators and wii games playing from HDD. I am going back to see him tonight to get GC running from same HDD as Wii games using DIOS MIOS. He is charging 30 bucks but I am looking at as a live tutorial class since he is actually walking me through it.

My goal for joining this site is to read up an learn how to do everything this guy did to my wii so I never have to pay for mod service again. I am happy with his work, but I want to know how to do it all myself. I want to know my wii inside and out and be able to do anything I want and understand what and why I am doing things.

The links you provided will get me going in the right direction. Thanks

    *** Update***

Well the guy that was going to help me, changed his mind. I guess he doesn't have time anymore. Thats ok, now I have this great site to help me through the process. After reading the guides provided, I will be searching for a way to play both Wii and GameCube games from the same HDD. Since my Wii is already modded, I hope this won't be to difficult.

I will review the search before asking for help. Thanks

Um, there is no such thing in San Diego buddy.

Bad weather days I mean. We do have games.

For USB gamecube loading by the way there is Dios Mios and Devolution currently. Both have guides on this site and both require you format your hard drive as FAT32 with 32 kb clusters....so hopefully he set your hard drive up that way or else you will have erase it.
