I don't know if i should install homebrew

Well, i've got a 2 year old wii which i don't use. I wanted to install homebrew but I forgot about it. I've got a few questions
1.Can i update my wii if i've got homebrew installed? And what is a way to update if you can't?
2.What's the probability that i can brick my wii
3.If i would ever like to sell it, And it would have homebrew installed, How do I uninstall homebrew safely?

Yes just not officially. You would need to install updated IOS on your own. Or use programs like modmii.. I suggest using Mauis guide though to updates all your IOS and install cIOS (which is the any wii guide in my sig)

2.What's the probability that i can brick my wii
There is always a chance to brick.. it really varies depending on how familiar you are with that kind of stuff.. again with the "any wii guide" it makes it pretty simple to softmod and fairly simple to follow.

Delete it.. The cIOS and patched IOS will remain. we have a guide to remove them but pieces of the softmod will always remain..
