    about softmodding and homebrew

    Hi guys

    Ok ive recently followed the any wii guide and managed to get a will back up and running homebrew was almost gone i think because the wii had been updated. So this now makes me want to learn more about wads. dols and ciso/iso ect... and what there for.

    ive been searching the forums and cant seem to locate anything that to the point, i would like to know what im updating and why plus what affect this will have on the wiii system. i just dont want to softmod no more but understand why/what everything is for.

    it would be great if can you point me to some guides that explain all this in more detail.

    sometimes google search works better than the site searches. Add site:wiihacks.com to your google search and you'll only get results from here.

    And if you've followed mauifrogs guide, there should be little need to mess with cioses as his installation includes everything you're ever likely to need.

    @shiftlock

    Good thing you clarified! Lol. Saw that you had written that and was wondering what happened to all the posts I've read about not following the fail guides. Figured Nighstah would be on you in about 5 minutes. Lol
