Once you delete the channels you will immediately prompted to upgrade your wii, when a disk is inserted, therefore the channels would be reinstalled. But...there is a work around and I have it set-up on my wii. I never use those channels and I like my menu to look clean. I even deleted the shop channel.
You must have System Menu 3.2E(v290) or 3.2U(v289). It won't work on any other system menu. I sugest you stay at 3.2 or downgrade to it anyway. I'm sure you can find how to do this in the forums.
Anyway if you have system menu 3.2...get starfall [CAREFUL USE]
Follow the on-screen instructions from there and you want to add the patch for "Skip disc update check"
Then use Any Title Deleter...and delete the right titles. Use this list: HERE
unless you need to be on a lower firmware.... you could do the safe upgrade to 4.0 and get the SD menu. 20 more pages of channels. and free up all the wii memory. nice .
oops, i meant safe upgrade to 4.1 .... nice. thanx
can i delete wii disk channel?
