Thread: remove any wii channel

    Once you delete the channels you will immediately prompted to upgrade your wii, when a disk is inserted, therefore the channels would be reinstalled. But...there is a work around and I have it set-up on my wii. I never use those channels and I like my menu to look clean. I even deleted the shop channel.

    You must have System Menu 3.2E(v290) or 3.2U(v289). It won't work on any other system menu. I sugest you stay at 3.2 or downgrade to it anyway. I'm sure you can find how to do this in the forums.

    Anyway if you have system menu 3.2...get starfall [CAREFUL USE]
    Follow the on-screen instructions from there and you want to add the patch for "Skip disc update check"

    Then use Any Title Deleter...and delete the right titles. Use this list: HERE

    i deleted the annoying photo channel.
    not sure if it freedup much system memory but at least its gone.

    unless you need to be on a lower firmware.... you could do the safe upgrade to 4.0 and get the SD menu. 20 more pages of channels. and free up all the wii memory. nice .

    I dont think i would want to delete the disk channel but maybe move it onto another page.

    im sure you have already know how to move a channel(A&B) to another page(drag to + / -)

    Use preloader and hack.ini to allow you to move disc channel
