Where did u get the latest versions of Weather & News to install with DOP-Mii ??? Are the v7 the latest versions ???

Update: Never mind... DOP-Mii can "install Official Wii Channels from Nintendo's update server"... So no need for the Wad's...

So it should be OK to uninstall all the "Disc Game Title (savedata)" and also the News & Weather Channel's thru AnyTitle Deleter Mod & update to the latest with DOP-Mii with a WiFi connection??? Or would it be wiser to install from Latest IOS's & Channels as Wad's thread....

Does anybody know what's up with the two Photo Channel's... Is v1.0 needed or just v1.1 ????

The program says that can't get count of titles (ret = -1). How to solve that?

    Edit: problem solved!

This might sound like a silly question ...... I have duplicate channels and channels I don't really want. Can I use this to delete them completely? I don't want to delete them and then upgrade them but just delete them. Weather Channel, News Channel and Photo Channel. Thanks.

I have a few questions please before I proceed.

I want to delete my CRAP made channels which are on my home page for backups on my USB FAT hard drive. I recently converted my WBFS drive to FAT and now the channels are no longer working. I want to delete them and then re-install with FAT configured instead of WBFS.

When you load through homebrew it asks you to select IOS version to load. It is defaulted at IOS249. Is it best to keep it on this?

I go to DISC GAME TITLES and SAVES which lists 2 pages of titles. Some of these games are on the Wii home menu but some are not. I presume the ones that are not are Saves? The ones listed which are on the home page do I just delete? Sometimes in the list it will tell you that an entry is a (save) but other times it doesn't. Is there any way of finding out which one is the save and which one is the channel?

There are quite a few that say UNKNOWN. Do you know what these are likely to be?

    Thanks.

    249 should be fine.

You need to go to "Installed Channel Titles", not the saves. There you can delete the channels.

For everything else there should be various ID #s that are associated with installed titles. From what I remember (been awhile since I used it), anything that says "unknown" is something that you may have deleted via data management or some other method in the past. There are always traces left behind. ATD shows those as "unknown". Take a look here: Title database - WiiBrew. You should be able to match up the unknown files with something on that list, and at that point make a determination as to whether or not it is safe to delete it permanently with ATD.
!!!IMPORTANT!!! - Don't go commando and start deleting stuff if you aren't 100% certain you know what you are deleting!!! None of us want to see your next post be in the Bricked section...

Very good advice. Thanks for your help and the link. I will be careful. I don't want to see my next post in the brick section either.

The program returned to work after restoring the NAND. But stopped working, again.
