    Rock Bank Issues with Softmod

    My firmware is 3.2u with Backup Loader 0.3 gamma.

    I bought the Rock Band Special Edition and the game works fine.
    I am trying the Track Pack Vol 2 and RB2 backup (with wiibrickblocker and scrubbed) and the equipment is not working with the games. But will work with my original RB.

    Is there a way around?

    Take just the .dol file from this download (cios_installer.dol) and run it with the backup loader.

    When it's done, install this cIOS

    Tell me how that works.

    Do you need to rename the dol file to boot or something? Or just copy that straight to the root of the sd card and away it goes? I have the same problem for rb2 with instruments not detecting, I did think it may have been because I'm using pal instruments with an NTSC game? Could there be any problems by that?

    Yes you need to take cios_installer.dol and rename it boot.dol. Then put it in a folder in the 'apps' folder on your card (just like all the other apps you have).

    I: (SD card) -->APPS -->cios installer --> boot.dol

    Correction
    I had to install IOS37 with IOS36 rev7 249 to get both the guitar and drums to work
    IOS37 w/ IOS37 249, both drums and guitar would be the same player.
