Yeah, I used the loader a lot. At least now I know most of the issues and work-arounds with it. Chips are way better, but I kinda miss the figuring things out part with the loaders. Oh well, chips are easier

well, i would learn it, but personally i dont want to spend all that time when i got no need =P

i will say yes i like chips more, and the fact they require less effort and do more, is always a perk hehe

    Cool,

I have downloaded the GeckOs you have shown me - I believe is version 1.07b.

I have also downloaded the Homebrew browser 0.2.5a.

If my Homebrew Channel doesn't update and crashes on 52% again , I will manually install version 1.1.1.

This should then allow me to play an original US RB2 game on my PAL Wii with Australian GWHT gear ?

With Gecko OS, you should be able to play it just fine.

    Hi ChrisChown,
Any idea why when I try to it update my homebrew channel to beta 9 - It gets to around 52% and quits? I have the latest update...

    (or
you can make a directory inside /apps (for example, /apps/Update) and copy
boot.dol there. Then, simply run it from the previous version of the channel
) taken from homebrew channel 1.1.1 readme.

Will this work or am I misreading the instructions to update to 1.1.1 , I do not have beta 9 either?
