    Wad Manager 1.8 Unnoficial



    hamachi-mp has released an unnoficial version of wad manager 1.8. This version removes the need of the cIOS for AHBPROT.



    Download
    Source- wii-homebrew

    Changelog-

    - removed cIOS support
    - removed the ability to install wad files in NAND backups
    - added runtime ios patching with HW_AHBPROT
    - added advanced settings, you can now choose
    a) the start IOS of installed channels (IOS58 recommended)
    b) to enable and disable AHBPROT
    c) to enable and disable the parental controll password on channels

    Interesting post, but I have mixed feelings about this version. It's nice that it supports HW_AHBPROT, but it seems like cIOS support has been completely removed. It would have been handy as a fallback for people who do not have HW_AHBPROT. I think I'll just stick with version 1.7.

    i just use MMM now coz i had 1.7 but get ret error-1 coz its on a 4gb sdhc card was fine when i had a 2gb card

    I always use MMM too. I rarely use WM.

    No clue. I tried on a 2gb sandisk and worked.

    I can check if it works on my 4gb sandisk card when I get home.

    so this would work on a freshly modded 4.3 wii with just homebrew channel installed and no cios yet? i noticed homebrew channel remains after you update a modded wii so maybe i could use this to install cios/mios without having to use a game?

    You dont have to use a game to install cios.

    Btw, mod your wii using the softmod any wii guide
