    Exception 0300 occurred

I have updated to v3.4U before I knew I could use homebrew

I have followed the directions and I get a Exception 0300 occurred

I have formatted my scandisk 2gb sd card with Official SD Card Format Tool, the card says (sandisk for wii) on it, if that makes a difference

Then extracted twilight-hack-v0.1-beta2.zip and the_homebrew_channel-1.0.1.tar.gz to the sd card and changed the homebrew channel to boot.dol

    Delete the existing Zelda save

    Copy Twilight hack to system

start game and choose TwilightHack0 for the version of Zelda I have

Walk backwards and it starts and then gives me the Exception 0300 occurred

    Hope someone can help

    Thanks in advance

I'm having the same problem. i just got a wii and decided to try this out but am not entirely knowledgeable on the subject. i've performed all the steps you have in your post and also formated my card to fat32. made sure i use the right hack file for my type disk and even used a different memory card to make sure my other one isn't just messed up. i also rename the homebrewchannel file to the boot.dol and nothing. and after i follow all the steps including extracting files directly to the card i still get the 0300 error and it says "

    Found boot.dol!
    done, filesize is 1614007
    ## no elf image at address
    DOL image detected?
    relocating blah blah blah
    Exception 0300 occurred!

and then it goes into four columns of numbers and characters... if i can get this thing to work with your help i'm more than willing to make a donation to the site.

    hi melton,
at 3.4x, proceed the load, the play, the delete, the copy in sequence of time, as soon as possible. avoid delay in between.
reformat ur SD card and repeat the process everytime u encountered a failure in the process.
the rest is highlined in the Tut's. good luck.

Ok guys i've got it to work. what the tutorial doesn't tell you is that you have to expand the homebrewchannel file you download using winrar or something. then once you do that take the file from those files and use it. then it loads right up. hope this helps the other people with the 0300 problem.

    0300 issue

    Melton,

I was also wondering what you mean by expanding the file with winrar? I just extracted directly to the sd card but still keep getting the exception 0300. Could you provide a little more detail on what you did to fix the problem? Thanks.
