New softmodder here, and new to Wii in general. Got the Wii for my son from Amazon last fall. It was 4.2U. Softmodded it using the excellent guides here. Runs backups great on CFG USB loader. We are just being introduced to Wii games (NSMBWII, SMG, SMG2, etc). I've ordered some GameCube games too (and a controller). Would like to undertake installing Swiss if I can understand the process correctly.

My question involves SysCheck and your new 2.1.0b7 version of it. It ran great and it shows my System Menu to be 4.0/4.1U (v54449). Checked Wii Settings page and sure enough my System Menu now says 4.1U (originally said 4.2U out of the box). I assume this is fine. If I tackle installing Swiss for GC, I wanted to know my MIOS version. SysCheck shows it to be MIOS v65535. What does that mean? I believe MIOS have versions like v4, or v5, or v6, or v10. What does v65535 mean? If I were to do a cMIOS install, what MIOS version would I select? The latest (is that v10)? Thanks very much.
