WiiMC Video Streaming with OS X (SMB Share)

    Hey everyone,

I was just wondering if anyone here could help me out with setting up SMB sharing. I am running Mac OS X 10.6.5, and I have been trying to set up my Wii to stream video content from my computer. Every time I try, all I get is: Error- Failed to Connect to Network Share.

I am fairly certain that I have the IP, username, and password set up correctly, and I have OS X set up for SMB file sharing. I am not exactly sure what to enter for the display name and the share name. If anyone has any experience getting this set up your help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks-
    Mike

I first logged in on my girlfriends computer and used facebook connect to log in. I figured if I was going to post questions I should make a more anonymous account. Sorry if that causes trouble.

I'm sorry... so that really doesn't answer the question of TWO IDs. There a reason you couldn't log onto it with your own ID? One day apart in sign up, I'm a little confused. We don't allow multiple accounts; does one of them need stricken or?

If you need to get rid of one account, you can get rid of the one under Shannon's name. I was using her computer, which was logged onto Facebook to read a tutorial. I used the connect function because you have to be registered to view links within posts. Later, I came across an issue that I could not find an answer to. I didn't feel like she would like me posting here with her facebook account linked to it, so I created a profile.
