    Your previous post and this conflict. Was the other post relating to an "old" forwarder and this latest the "new" forwarders? Also, I wonder at the size of the HD you used... I didn't see it mentioned other than the 1.5tb drive. Again, I'm not up on this thread, but the implication is old/new, right?

    for clarification
    Old forwarder was without NTFS loading
    New forwarder was with NTFS loading

    When I originally tested the NFTS (nforwarders) forwarder I tested on a 160gb HDD (100% NTFS) - This worked fine.
    When tested on my 1.5tb HDD (100% NTFS) the Nforwarders did not work

    So I had to put a small FAT32 partition on the end of my 1.5tb HDD and use my old forwarder (Fat32)

    Sorry about all that waffle in previous post it read quite well to me.

    HI everyone, first time posting but I need some help. This is my first time hacking a wii and this is what I have done so far. Oh by the way I have 4.3u menu.

    1) Installed Homebrew channel using smash stack exploit.

    2) Restored Trucha Bug following this guide here http://sites.google.com/site/complet...g-guide/trucha

    3) Copied Wad Manager to apps folder on SD card.

    4) Put carbonik-Nforwarder58-WFBJ.wad into wad folder on sd card.

    5) When I go to install the wad using IOS58 I get an error.

    >> Installing ticket... ERROR! (ret = -2011)

    Basically what I want to do is this. I have a 2TB external USB HDD that I want to put wiiflow on and SNES NES WII and other emulators on including roms. So I dont ever have to put an sd card in to play anything. I wanted everything working from the HDD.

    I thought I needed to install the forwarder using IOS58 but like I said that results in an error. If anyone can let me know what I am doing wrong and give some steps to achieve my goal I would be really appreciative.

    Thanx.

    Wrong place to ask your question but an easy one to overcome.
    Use ios36, 249 or 236 to install
    Reason: IOS58 will not allow installation of fakesigned wads, your ios/cios I said above should.

    EDIT: I just saw your link you posted. Please from now use wiihacks guides this is the most active and most up-to date site on the net for your wii hacking needs. You will get more help if you use the guides found on this site.

    Sorry the reason I posted here was because the last thing I did before I had trouble was download the forwarder from this thread.
    I guess the part where I got confused was in the first post it says
    Requirements:
    *
    * - Installed IOS 58, use IOS58 Installer
    * for installation.

    I thought that meant use IOS58 to install the forwarder. I guess that just meant you need IOS58 installed and to use that link to install IOS58. Since I already have IOS58 I can forget that.

    Thanx.

    Edit: Even though I have the HDD plugged in to USB port0 I get a black screen with a picture of where to plug it in. It says "please plug a USB HDD on port 0 or press reset." I used IOS236 to install the wad.

    Edit2: So I searched around a bit and found the problem. Now I got it working. I installed cios 202 222 223 247 248 249 250. now it works. Thanx again for your help.

    I know this thread is old, but I've got a question about the Cfg USB Loader one. Is there a way to make it search in "ROOT:\apps\USBLoader" instead? That is the default location of boot.do, so I don't know why it's not there in the first place. I could change the folder name, of course, but then the forwarder channels I made with Crap wouldn't work.
