youre saying, they gave up on Mii 100% after it was released.... odds are they have some updates for it in the works, or in it
It seems like Nintendo gave up on Miis a long time ago. Even the (insert lame here) photo channel got an update last year while the Mii channel finally has keyboard support, since as we all know, writing names with the wiimote is soooo tiring. It's a useless gesture on Nintendo's part. That keyboard would be more useful with the web browser.
Aside from games with titles starting in "Wii" are there any games that support Miis? I don't mean like Mario Galaxy where your saved file is designated by a Mii icon. I mean, are there any action/adventure titles where YOU are the star? Because two years ago that's what I thought Miis were supposed to be used for.
MOST nintendo based games that are multiplayer you can use them
brawl their a icon for online, and maybe something else
kart their for a DL, and you can race with one in a jump suit, and if you win all the time trial records you get a 2nd design you can race with
sluggers you can use mii's to bat and and play the game, they get specials and everything *though the specials are just more power hits =\*
animal crossing lets u swap your face with your favorite mii
bomberman lets u use one to play as
fifa has them as playable
guitar hero lets u use them
mario party you can use one to play
mario vs sonic oly games, you can play as one
mlb lets u play as one
namco lets you use one briefly
NBA uses them for a coach
i can go on but there are a LOT of games that lets u use them to play, or as something more important than a simple wii ___ game

It still seems to me like Miis make little more than cameo appearances. Putting my face in AC sounds sweet, too bad I don't like AC at all.

That list made me realize how few Wii games I have, despite owning one since launch.
you have to remember, most games dont have any reason to add them outside of nintendo themself
why would lets say Spiderman, a game thats gonna be ported to the other big systems, put time into it so you can use your Mii or something like that
all nintendo games that use them, as players, are about on par with any other nintendo character, and just like mario and DK they get their own games
I see what you mean, but I was thinking on a larger scale.
I was hoping that Miis would be involved in epic adventures more that sports and mini-games.
nintendo isnt mr. Epic thats Capcom xD or Nippo ichi or even neo geo
the Mii's are ment to be repersentative to the target market the "casual gamer" and they are Sports players, and instrument people
i never saw, a reason for the Mii to be given a epic adventure like Super Mario Brothers 3, or 64, also the code would be a tad hard
i mean dont get me wrong i would in a second buy Mii dungion or something where you get to play a rpg fighting other nintendo people mii's and such leveling as your favorite class
but its not gonna happen, the Mii is like the wiimote, it was released as soon as it could be
