after all this time I have a question about punch out

    i acquired punch-out NTSC-U/C but my console is NTSC-J 4.1J
    Before:
when i boot it from the disk channel it gives me a black screen but from neogamma it boots fine
    Now:
both give me a black screen

I updated my cios to rev 20 I downgraded it back to rev 17 but it still gives me a black screen
So what exactly is the problem here?

So when you updated to Rev 20 it stopped working from neogamma as well? Did you do anything else before it stopped working? (Do you have cIOScorp installed or a modchip or something?....in regards to loading from the disc channel?)

You can delete IOS249 with DOP-Mii or MMM (very carefully....Never delete an IOS below 200).... and then run the cIOS38 Rev 17 installer again (reinstalling cIOS249). Then try the game again from Neogamma.
    Damn I suck!!!!
