    wireless media streaming through homebrew?

Hi all, I've just hacked my wii and installed homebrew and various apps and am loving it! Was a little hard to get my head around at first as I've never done anything like this before, but now I'm giving tutes to the guys at work how to do it! What I'm wondering is if anyone has heard if there is an app being or been developed to stream media (mainly video files) from pc to wii without having to use opera?

    thanks all

I don't believe one exists, but why not just use opera? If you have homebrew you can download it from on here and install it....then you can use Orb to stream it.

Only ones I know of (Orb and Tversity) require Opera.

well to use opera would mean that I'd have to stream through the web and not within my own LAN right? As don't you have to upload through Orb servers then download again through oyur Wii? Or am I mistaken? And also Isn't the quality reduced through these methods? I read somewhere that they cant be adjusted to full screen?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but you can already do this with MPlayer CE. You just have to setup the SMB config appropriately.
