    Save game backup.

Are there any homebrew tools to copy the saved games to the SD card without having to put the game disk in. Preferably one that will save all the games at once.

Or is it just not possible?

I think "without having to put the game disk in" are the key words here. Save Extractor saves 1 game at a time and you have to have the game disc in.

Rule of thumb, if you can play online, you can't copy your gamesave onto your SD Card without save extractor....and save extractor is kind of tricky because you can't use your wiimote, you have to use the reset button. lol

I have been looking for a program that will do what you are wanting Captin and I'm not finding anything either.

Why couldn't you just go to your Wii System Data menu and copy your saves to your SDCard as you would normally?

why don't you try that chubbs....it doesn't work or else there would be no reason for the save game extractor.

Some save games are LOCKED to the console (mainly the ones with any online play capabilities)

Umm .. that IS the way I copy my saves to SDCard .. how does it NOT work .. and why would you need the game disc? I did NOT say you could copy EVERY game save .. I was answering in a totally generic way.

In no point in the original post did the person say he had trouble with saving a game that COULD NOT be copied.

From the actual post .. it looks like this person has used "Save Extractor" and was wondering for an alternate program WITHOUT sticking a gamedisc in .. maybe he didn't even know that he could copy most gamesaves through the Wii Data Management Screen .. I was just offering basic help .. no need to put me down like I don't know what I'm talking about.

Am I one of only a handful of people that actually READ the posts?

thats how i do it -,_-, and ive never had a issue, sometimes homebrew is pointless, and other times people make things to just be more convient, and arnt the only ones locked are online, because they sync with a Friend code

No Chubbs, you aren't the only one that reads posts. His first sentence says "without having to put the game disk in". that tells me that he has tried the Savegame extractor because you are required to put the game disc in for it to work. Was I assuming too much? Maybe, but I figured everyone knew you could save your games just by going into the data area of the Wii. (guess not everyone knows that?)

To put it plainly.....for all games WITHOUT online play capabilities you can go into the wii settings area and go into the data saves area and copy your saves to your SD card.

For games WITH online play capabilities you will HAVE to put in the game disc and use SaveGame Extractor and save them one at a time!

There may be games that don't play online that are still locked to the console, but I haven't found any yet.

well, i have arround 100 saves in wii memory... that mean that i had to click 100 times to copy saves on SD and 100 more times to delete uneeded saves.
Is there any shorter method for this? As something that will copy ALL saves and/or delete them after if needed?
