everything you want is possible with wiiflow 2.0
i dont understand why anyone uses usb loader gx.
wiiflow 2.0 usb loader is the best, most new loader out there it boots wads from wii menu if u want ot returns to wii menu or homebrew channel
usb loader gx is total chit. always has been..
if your going to use a older loader go with Configurable USB loader. its been out since usb loader gx or before it even, and has always worked correctly unlock the loader gx that is a melange of slow loading and cover art issues, with a double scoop of random crashing/code dumps thorwn in for good measure.
i often wondered why anyone with half a brain used it, but it seems most of the guides here and elsewhere, for a total lack of reason, encourage people to use that one. I think they get a kickback form the loader gx crew b/c configurable loader has always been the best. I have used both those loaders since their inception and it took 6 months before a proper working stable release of loadergx was around. config loader > loader GX in every single stat: load time, stability, coverart, revisions, appearance, customiziable, options, etc you name it config does it better than GX. there have been numerous polls and config loader always beat loadergx yet the blind keep leading the blind to loader gx.
so thats my rant it seems most of u should swap to wiiflow 2.0 as its the newest and best out now, but if u prefer something dated go with configurable usb loader than the fecal laden pile of fail that is loadergx.
Great! I am trying to install Wii Flow now...The guide is pretty rough...what files do I need?
Do I install Wii Flow as a Static Channel using WAD Manager through Homebrew Channel? or as a Forwarder?
What's with all the Wii Flow files and versions and R25 pack, and then a Forwarder pack?
It's really not super clear...I am trying to follow the guide, but need some help please.
I really want to be able to try out Wii Flow!
Update: I got Wii Flow App onto SD card and ran it using Homebrew Channel...I found the Global Settings and am now downloading the box art.
I need to configure Wii Flow and install a static channel or a forwarder channel to get PriiLoader to boot to Wii Flow and bypass System menu.
Then, how do I get Wii Flow to launch other channels, like homebrew channel or mii channel?
What are the Favorties for?

only certain themes in wiiflow 2.0 have the ability to run system menu channels. I use the violet one. There is an icon at the bottom that looks like a bunch of rectangles (like the system menu). Click on it and it will take you another page showing your system menu channels.
Favorites are just a way to more quickly access the games you play most. You can also tell wiiflow to boot to your favorites list.
As for priiloader, just use wadmanager to install the wiiflow 2.0 forwarder channel, then tell priiloader to use that boot.dol.

I have it all working...is there anyway to create images for the System Menu Channels?
Right now, now matter which Wii Flow Theme I choose, I can select any of my System Menu Channels, however, they all appear as box art with "?" and not a cool image. Thanks.
Update: Better yet, anyone figure out a way to include a channel launcher in the game list itself? This way, anything that you could ever want to launch (back up USB HDD Game, or Channel, or Homebrew Application) could all be in one place. Otherwise, the channels are nice to have as an option to get to from Wii Flow. A major improvement over USB Loader GX; however, I would like to know if there is a way to make images of each channel....is there an ID Number for each channel name and a corresponding image ID Number that would need to be placed in the box art folder? Thanks.

Any idea here about the Wii Flow Channel Images? Thanks...
Is there a way to manually do this?
Or do I have something set up incorrectly?
Also, is there a way to "Directly" launch a Homebrew Application from Wii Flow? Or, should I always load Homebrew Channel first, and then find the App and Load it?
i haven't tried it, but I'm sure if you open up the wad is Showmii Wads, find the channel ID, and name a picture with the channel ID it will show up.
Where do I find the Channel IDs? Do I have to install something you named Showmii WAD? Where can I get that? What does it do? I really would like to avoid installing anything else if possible and try to simply find the Channel IDs. Thanks.
If you have installed any custom channels, you can use showmii wads or customizemii to find the channel ID. They are computer apps that come as compiled executables, search the forum for them. As for most other Wiiware/VC games, they can be found in the titles.ini found in the wiiflow folder. There are usually several ID's for each game, so just copy each image you want to use and rename it appropriately. Then put them all in the boxcovers folder. Troublesome channels were HBC and WiiMC. You must name the HBC channel pic JODI, and name the WiiMC pic WIMC.

I got it working...sort of.
If i ever want to change an image (a second or third, etc. time) do I have to delete an .ini file or something? To trigger it to reload? I just deleted the images from the box cover folder on my SD card and put SD card back in...when loading up to Wii Flow, it STILL showed the original images...I want to change some now...how?
Another Wii Flow Question for Controls. I recall that any remote could launch USB Loader games. It appears that only control #1 can navigate Wii Flow. Is this correct? Is there a way to allow more controls to navigate Wii Flow?
I got it! Just delete the cache files in the same folder of Wii Flow.
All is good now...
