NTSC on a PAL wii with homebrew?

Just wondering if these will work, I installed homebrew last week, all working great but I'm trying to get a copy of tiger woods 11 because I can't find it in stores here in Australia.

I've got a black wii and iirc its 4.2e.

Playing the games using USB Loader GSX

    Thanks

Yes just force your region using USB Loader. Go into the settings and you will see it.

Make sure you NEVER accept an out of region update though. ( I know this is a new game and I don't know if you have priiloader so I thought I would mention it as you will brick if you do)
    Damn I suck!!!!

GX is also a disk loader. He didn't specifically state he was playing them from a USB device. Either way it was good advice and the reason I mentioned it is because the game is new.

Why don't you find out for yourself. LOL I'm not going to argue with you, this isn't even your thread. I was saying it as a precaution, that's all. A disk loader won't bypass an update if it is still on the game disk, the only reason GX does that is because the update partition is removed when its ripped to the WBFS drive.

    Thanks. This was helpful.

Can you please confirm that if you just played games from USB HDD (I'm using Configurable USB Loader) that updates will not happen and attempting to play other region games will not BRICK the Wii?

(Current system: 4.2E with Homebrew / Hackmii / Bootmii / TBR via DOP-Mii / Wanaiko's IOS 36 / Hermes IOS 222/223 on IOS 249, and CFG USB Loader from SD Card)

    Cheers

About as helpful as you asking this same question across multiple threads (some several months old). I believe there's something in the rules about this behavior... might want to have a read <subtle hint>
