Did you try the alternate WiiMC 1.6 forwarder.wad I posted? IOS58 v6176 is needed, make sure you don't have IOS58 v6175 installed.

    WiiMC 1.6 forwarder.wad
    IOS58 v6176

Use the forwarder channel 1.6 with WiiMC 1.1.1

As of v1.0.7, WiiMC uses IOS58 instead of cIOS's. Please post a system check with the guide in my sig.

What do you mean? Are you talking about a channel?

Thumbs up Love the USB Compatibilty Fixes on 1.1.2!

I had all kinds of issues with getting my HDD to be recognized with prior versions. Recognizes it just fine now on the 1.1.2 release! Which is great because I had more issues with MplayerCE. It would read the drive but code dumped alot. Video playback had very little lag but the audio didnt sync. The only issue I am having with this version of WiiMC is the video playback lags really badly....not even watchable. It could possibly be because the resolution of the video file is too much for the Wii to handle. I am not entirely sure yet. Ive got a FAT32 partitioned 1TB Seagate Goflex HDD(unsure of the part number. it was purchased this week so it is a newer drive). I am still experimenting to see what works best with this. If anyone has a tip on how to reduce the lag, that would be great. Other than that, I love this release of WiiMC! I havent tried out the channel installer/forwarder yet though.

I have updated the first post to reflect the release of WiiMC 1.1.2, not any really noticable changes.

I don't know what causes the lag, I have a DVD player with a usb slot that sometimes lags on certain avi/divx/xvid files. Maybe it is the dvd player or WiiMC or just a bad source file, I would like to think it is the source file since most of my other movies play with no lag while viewing with WiiMC. There is a setting within WiiMC to sync the audio up to +/- 2 seconds. I adjusted the audio sync on one movie by 0.7 seconds and made it a nearly perfect audio sync.

Any help will land my second donation to wiihacks!!!

    Dear all,

Please help me out with Wiimc using only simple english. Last week i downloaded v1.1.1 and load it directly from Homebrew since I dont have ios58 my homebrew is v 61 21.29 or something like that.[I] when I loaded it from homebrew it works well first time and I am able to play movies, pictures and online radio. It recognizes only my SD card and does not recognise my seagate hardrive..part of which is wbfs formatted and contains all my games and part of which is either FAT32 or NTFS formatted..i forgot which one it was.

Today as I was about to type my problem I noticed that they have a new version. So I have downloaded all the four files on the first page of this thread and also ios58 from another site. I deleted the old wiimc folder from my apps folder and copied the new wiimc folder...when I try to load it using Homebrew it gives me a page full of code and keeps saying reloading in 8 secs.

Please help me out by giving me step by step instructions in simple english. Please do not use any advanced language like channel loaders, forwarders....etc. Based on your response if I am successfully able to install and play wiimc using both my SD card and external hard drive....I will give my second donation to wiihacks!!!!!

Thanks in advance for all your help but please use simple language like (a) download all the files from the first page of this thread (b) unzip all the files and save the folders under apps folder of your SD card (c) INstall IOS58 by opening homebrew and clicking on IOS58 icon.......something like this. I am sure not all of your followers are techno geeks and are simple folks who just follow step by step instructions.

Thanks again for all your help and looking forward to a quick reply that will make my day or in my case night as its already 7 pm india!!

I forgot to type in my real problem when I typed that big story. When i load wiimc from homebrew..it plays well the first time. But say I close it and go back to playing games and come back and load again..it doesnt work. So yesterday I delted the folder from my sd card and copied the same folder again.....this time too when I loaded it the first time it worked, but when I come back to play it a second time..it doesnt work....not sure if I am doing something really stupid...not sure if version1.1.2 address this issue.....

I was using the previous version and tried to update .not sure it worked tho because it started a code dump or something then froze, after rebooting tried to update the channel and wii said alredy had the channel did i want to delete it or cancel.not sure which to do' I tried cancel but couldn't so again rebooted.under old version I had a forwarder on the sd card so I could boot from the wii menu .I thought that wasn't req'd for the new version but it is, otherwise it doesn't work.can anyone enlighten me. thanks very much.
