I also installed the WiiMC 202 installer which as Stomp says uses base 57. The app finds my drive just fine. Not sure why I am able to run base 57 and you guys are not. I wonder if cretain drives are not recognized?
I went back and tried the IOS202 with 57 base and it did find my USB device. I must have been testing a thumb drive without a video file on it. So, IOS202 with 60 and 57 as a base will recognize a usb device, but ony if there is a media file on it. And, I didn't notice a difference in the amount of time it took the SMB to access my computer, it was rather quick with either 60 or 57 as a base.

We really need a tweak that can play our music in games! Is anyone working on that or has someone come out with it?

I don't think that will be happening. Games run under IOS and therefore it would be difficult/impossible to multitask another app in there to play your music. I suppose Nintendo may add this functionality into certain games where music is required to aid the gameplay, however the limite RAM and CPU power, couple with the media that the Wii uses would make music streaming difficult while playing your games.

The best idea for you is to play your Wii and have an iPod playing music into your ears. Solved.
Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.

    pixelizing!

Most of the streaming vids I try to play are awfully pixelized. Actually the problem is with motion which is indeed fluid but most of the pixels don't get refreshed fast enough and the image after a few frames becomes a big mess. If the video goes back to a slow moving picture or a fixed one the quality becomes fine again.

    Anyone else having this problem?

@daffid I just checked and it played a burned dvd+r i have of a movie fine. Well, after it codedumped on the dvd's menu on the first try, but then I tried it again and that's when it played np's from the menu and all. I fast forwarded through the movie to different parts to see if I could get it to desync or crash again and it didn't. It is a new app though, and in time the codedumps will go away once they work the bugs out. They're rare now as it is for me, and I've been trying to test all the functions of it. I'm running system menu 4.2u, hermes cios 202 with ios 60 as a base, wasabi v3 with the latest 3.0 firmware
The SMB functionality is sweet! I like the music player and picture viewer too, but the SMB is where it's really at for me. Truly, a very nice app. Looking very much forward to future revisions too.

Nope that didn't solve the issue and actually I can't see how lowering the buffer cache could help. Maybe raising it... but that does not help either, I tried it. All streaming videos are terrible, I can only watch family guy with a reasonable quality because most of the picture is still and only one character at the time moves.
