tried that, same thing. im gonna try an older version, i recently updated. i should have the .wad somewhere, prob still on the sd actually

im assuming the password in WiiMC is the windows user password? i have no password, yet in WiiMC, it keeps the asteriks there as if i set a password. could this be it? if so, how can i get the password field to display nothing.

not sure if you can. try adding a simple password?

even if your account doesnt have admin privies, you should still have a password on it, even if its a weak one.

eh, its just me and my wife, i really have no need for a password........ i'll try the older wad, it worked without the password for me before, i just didn't have the static IP setup and never bothered doing so because i recently formatted and upgraded (like 3 days ago) to win7.

if the old wad doesn't do it, ill try the password, thanks.

oh! one last thing. i know it sounds stupid, but make sure the ip address is the correct one where the share is located!

if you formatted, turned off your pc or modem recently, its possible you got a different ip address and thats why its not working

why yes, ive made that very mistake several times

You could check your pc name. On my win7 machines they have "-PC" attached, so you would be PATRICK-PC.

What's the best cIOS for WiiMc 1.0.6 ? I installed it on a 4.3 , among with cIOS202[57]-v5.wad , does not work well, it freezes often .
    I won't install 1.0.9 because i hear it's even worse .
