I tested a xvid rip and it looked great, at least DVD quality. I think the youtube vids looked better with MplayerCE. I'll have to thest them back to back just to make sure. Also the picture viewer displayed the jpeg and png I tested, but an MP3 would not play?

    # Next I went into settings, and there you can select one of those forms of media. I will use video as an example.
    # In settings select video, then select video folder. Now type sd1:/media/video, select ok.
    # Now select the video icon at the top left of the screen and you should see what you put in the video folder on the SD card.
    # Do this with the other folders too, music, pictures.

Can you explain to me how to do that step please? I don't understand how you used video as an example and where the setting is located.

At the top of the screen there is a tool bar, next to the WiiMC symbol there is a settings tab. Select the settings tab and you will be presented with a list, there you will see video, pictures, music, among others like DVD, global, Network. There is where you select the video settings, once you select that i do believe you must press the down arrow on the right of the screen, to scroll down to the video files folder options, it is below the auto-resume setting.

You can probably use one of the guides, as a reference, for setting up an SMB share on MPlayerCE. It's probably the same, just a different way of enterning the required information.

    Hi Everyone,

I really like this app and have switched over from Mplayer CE. One of the forwarders that I like from the link Stomp provided does not work for USB. I decided to patch it up with a dol that does support USB. I also changed the music. I had to do the same thing for Mplayer CE and Ftpii forwarders that I liked but did not support USB. Here are the links to all three...

    WiiMC - WiiMC - GSMC.wad

    Mplayer CE - MplayerCE-GSMP.wad

    FTPii - Ftpii-GSFT.wad
