SD card problem

Hi all!

I got an 2Gb SD Card, formated as FAT32 with my MacBook, transfered the TH and HC files, tried to run it on my Wii, and all I got was: "no code found to load, hanging.". It found the boot.elf file, but gives me this error.

After that, I tried to put the card at my MacBook again, but this time, the card isn't recognized at ALL. Neither with Windows XP. Yeah, the card reader works, I tried reading another card (just 32Mb).

I tried GParted, TestDisk, nothing helped me read my SD card on my PC again. The weirdness: it works just fine with Wii. Read and write works, so, I don't think it's a problem with the SD card.

Another thing: there's other way to install HC without the TH?

If you have a mdochip installed and your wii is at version 3.2 then you can use the DVDiso to install the HBC. The DVD iso can be obtained from the following link, make sure to get the correct region iso that matches your wii.

The Homebrew Channel

according to the guide I used it said the SD should be FAT16 formatted. try reformatting to FAT16 and loading the progs. that might do it for you.

Last version of TwilightHack support FAT32. And, since the card can't be recognized at Windows, Mac or Linux, I can't reformat it.

I just wan't to know if I "lost" the card, or, if there's other way. Remembering: it works at my wii, so, it's not a card problem.

Did you rename the file boot.dol (or .elf)?

Nope. And, can't rename now, as my problem here is the SD card. :(

Ok, you'll have to format it and then put everything back on it. Then change the filename to boot.dol or elf

The file was already named boot.dlf, so, I haven't changed that.

And, sure you read my thread? The card isn't recognized at Windows, Linux or Mac. How I'm supposed to format it? :) THAT'S my problem. :(
