Have you tried to load Mplayer from the Homebrew Channel, just to bypass the channel to see if it's the app or the forwarder causing the problem. Also, double check that you do not have IOS58 v6175 installed.
I just tried to load directly from the HBC and got the same issue

I do have the IOS58 v6175 installed though... I should not have that????

You should. You also need to make sure that your HBC is running on IOS58. Press HOME in the HBC, and the top-right corner should have IOSXX. It needs to be IOS58. If it is something else, like IOS61, that is your problem. Just run the Hackmii Installer.zip and reinstall the HBC.

@joostinonline - The forwarders I have provided have AHBPROT + DVD support, HBC version does not matter. I use HBC 1.0.1 that runs from IOS35.

@Chupa - IOS58 v6176 is needed, IOS58 v6175 will not work, check the first post do download v6176.

I know it doesn't matter for the forwarder, but it is necessary if Chupa99 wants to load it from the HBC as well.

I'm curious, why do you use such an old version of the HBC?

So even installing IOS58 v6176 the problem persisted....

So I found out a working forwarder for the old version in some other forum... I don't really care for the new version since it's for my gf's wii and she's happy with the classic one (cuz she already knows how to use hehe, u know how women can be with game)

so everything straight out now =D... thx for all the help fellas...

have you tried to convert the mkv to a lower quality, that may take care of the "movie runs slowly".
