Us Gcbackuploader, Wii Sports Resort, BootMii boot2, Preloader, and StartPatch HELL!!!!

Been brewing for a while, now on 4.0U (no I will NOT update), and finally got version Xi of the Gamecube backup loader to work with Multiboot discs. I had already installed the Wii Sports Resort (WSR) update before, so obviously it was the Cios (Mios installer?) that caused WSR to make me update again. Long story short, I don't want to install Preloader/Priiloader because of the constant "you WILL brick" comments. I would just redo the guides, but I can't get BootMii working to backup my NAND because I deleted the original install from my SD card and...well...reinstalling it gave the installer text to follow; anyway when an SD card is present the Wii tries and fails to load BootMii (as boot2 btw) and just loads the health screen.

I would really just want to start over if I could because I did my sister's newer Wii with shadowsonic's 4.2 guide and it worked better than ever! However, I don't know if there is a guide for going back and starting over without updating, and I'm worried Dogeggs' guide might install Cios' that are troublesome with an already softmodded Wii. Oh, and also StartPatch won't even load. "Es_Identify (as Su)...Error = -1017"

Anyway, if it helps, here is BootMii's installer file as text:

Can someone at least tell me if I could just start from the beginning of Dogeggs' guide without screwing myself?

    *sigh* :*(
