    Cheating is fail.

In what way do the apps not work? Do you get a black screen? Do you get a code dump? Do elephants come out of the DVD slot? Does the Wii return to home screen?

You might want to verify you installed cIOS38 rev14 as part of the softmod process too.
Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.

    Same problem here

Hello, I got the same problem!

I am a Noob to Wii (Got it 2 days ago), and tryed to softmode it, and i think i all worked well (no errors), but i still cant play backup DVD (Verbatim DVD-R, 2x Write speed). But i has read someplace that the brick D3-2 can do that softmode dont works.. So, i wanted to use USBLoader, installed the files that was in the package of ind-usbsdloader1_4.

    Files that i did install:
    cios36 rev10 installer
    IOS36-64-v1042.wad
    USB Loader 1_4.wad

Afther this install was done, i tryed to use the USB Loader, but i only come out in black screen. I rebooted the Wii, and tryed my NES Emulator (it did work before the install), but it did not work, black screen again. The same is with the WAD installer and other apps in Homebrew channel, nothing is working!

Therefor i wanted to use my NAND backup, but bootmii is installed as IOS, so it was not safe i have read..

I think i got the D3-2 chip becouse my serial number is the same that other D3-2 Wii`s got, i have not checked the chip my self.

    Menu is 4.1

Some one that can help me out there? Sorry that this is my first post, but without wiihacks.com i have not learned so much in 2 days, THANKS FOR THAT!

Next step i want to try:
Run AnyTitle Deleter HBC, i will try to delete the files from the USB loader, i will come back with the results later on. Thanks!

Hmm.. i only wonder.. can it be my SD card that suddently dont work?
it is a kingston 2gb, tryed in fat16 and fat32 format...

When i enter the wii, and goes to channels, and SD card, it hangs.. nothing happens..
