I'm sorry, some how I thought you were looking for a wad channel of the emulator. Have you tried to run the roms from the SD card? It may sound wierd, but, I have a seperate SD card with just emulators and roms on it that I run from the homebrew channel, with no issues what so ever, works every time, and no wear and tear on teh DVD drive in the Wii. I hate burning discs when I don't have to.

Yes they will work, i think something is written to the card when using the sega emulator that isnt present when used as a wad chanell...maybe you can tell me what files are on your card relating to the sega emulator apart from the roms

I found some info for you

Preferred PAL Mode: Any (automatic TV mode detection, no more PAL60 version needed)
The ROMs can be placed on DVD-/+R (4.7GB max size) but you need to install the DVDx on your Wii.

I found that at wiibrew.org/wiki/Genesis_Plus, check it out.

It also says at wii brew that the save game folder will be written to the SD card if one is not present.
