sega emu as a channel wad

I installed the genesis plus emu as a channel as i didnt want to run it from the sd card, when i set it to run from dvd the game seems to start as i can hear it but there is no picture, the picture appears briefly but it seems to scroll up the screen slowly then it goes again and keeps doing this...any ideas ?? i have the snes set up as a channel and that is fine playing from DVD

I'm sorry, some how I thought you were looking for a wad channel of the emulator. Have you tried to run the roms from the SD card? It may sound wierd, but, I have a seperate SD card with just emulators and roms on it that I run from the homebrew channel, with no issues what so ever, works every time, and no wear and tear on teh DVD drive in the Wii. I hate burning discs when I don't have to.

Yes they will work, i think something is written to the card when using the sega emulator that isnt present when used as a wad chanell...maybe you can tell me what files are on your card relating to the sega emulator apart from the roms

I found some info for you

Preferred PAL Mode: Any (automatic TV mode detection, no more PAL60 version needed)
The ROMs can be placed on DVD-/+R (4.7GB max size) but you need to install the DVDx on your Wii.

I found that at [Only Registered Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register], check it out.

It also says at wii brew that the save game folder will be written to the SD card if one is not present.
