DVDX & MPlayer won't install???

My friend gave me his softmod wii. It has home brew channel v1.0.3 and it has IOS61 v19.26 when I check it. I ran the Custom Installer v2.0 to install CIOS249 and had no problem. I have Geexbox working and backup launcher running without a problem. But when I try to install mplayer or dvdx I get the same error regarding the stub ticket. I have searched and tried different things but still one solution.

What is this mysterious stub ticket you are getting? Why didn't you actually post the error? It would have been far more useful.

Sorry about that. I actually can install Mplayer CE but it says dvd or usb not mounted. And the error that pops up when I try to install DVDX is error -2011 stub ticket.

How incredibly common. About a million (more or less) softmodders also get that error. Thank goodness only a small percentage actually waste their time, and others, by posting and asking the question. A simple search for 2011 or -2011 would have netted you the result you needed.

I know I would get feedback as such. But I take it in stride. I did get it finally installed, but mplayer won't play my back up dvds. I tried both dvd video and libdvdnav. It could be my media I guess. But also when I try to go to the usb it says it is unmounted? But if I use geexbox it works with the usb.

Still haven't got DVD video to work through any of the players here either and I spent a whole 5 minutes trying to figure it out. I'm not bothered though as I have a real DVD player 6 cm from my Wii.
