Hackmii Installer or nothing will work on updated 4.0U to 4.1U Wii will work
Hello guys,
There is seriously something wrong with wii(well my girlfriends wii). I have done softmod before on my 3.2U wii and everything runs very smooth. My gf just got a new Wii with LU395 serial number, which does not play backups with new dvd drive. So, I was trying to install USB loader to play backups which apparently works ok LU39 wii's. I had HBC installed using Hackmii Installer previously but it was not letting me do anything, no wad install, no cIOS install or anything. So I updated the system menu 4.1U hoping that it will let me install cIOS so I can play the back using USB loader. It also didnt work. So, I formatted the wii to do a clean install of everything. Now, when I try to install HBC using HackMii Installer, it will not load. I get to the screen where it says about scam warming after pressing "YES" and when I press "1" to move forward, it will not work. I have tried every button and waited for a while to but will not work.
Although LOADMII does work my wii, I have tried sever thing but nothing will work except CMDVDX35, and it lets me run the DOWNGRADE TO IOS35 but I do thing anything happens. When I go into Wad Manager 1.4/1.5 using LoadMii and select IOS35, the wii remote turns it self and nothing happens. I have tried pretty much every guide that is out there but no luck at all.

Were you getting a -2011 error by any chance when trying to install wads or cIOS?
Yes I was getting error -2011 along with some other errors such ret -1035 and ret -1. I looked into that as well but no luck. I will try this, but it requires to have HBC and I cannot get HBC on my 4.1U Wii. Hackmii Installer does not work, I get to scam warning screen and thats it. I have to do a hard shut down. Let me know if this will work with LoadMii becuase LoadMii works on my wii.

I've not had too much dealing with LoadMii so I don't know it's limitations.
I'm more interested in why you can't get hackmii installer to work thuough. Have you had cIOScorp on the Wii at all?
Surely if LoadMii can launch executables it can launch any boot.dol you wish, right?

that is what I was thinking...i have tried and ran different application using LoadMii and they worked...i got errors on all of them though....and I think I did run cIOScorp but the process was not finished....I tried following your guide in previous reply. I was not able to install HBC again, but I did load TBR using LoadMii, I ran the boot.dol file for TBR. TBR started and it got stuck at home screen where is says "Select which IOS to Load: IOS36, Press B to continue without IOS Reload" and nothing happens. The wii remote turns it self off and when I press any button on it, it just blinks for like 4 times and still nothing. I just have to do hard shut down.
p.s. when I run TBR in the right corner of my screen it says its running IOS36 rev 3094, whereas in the video in the guide says its running IOS36 rev 1042. Do you this could be a problem for not running the TBR?

I'm using IOS36 v3890 but I've never needed to run TBR.
So basically you've got a partial cIOScorp install that's messing up your Wii. Hackmii installer doesn't work with cIOScorp. Also seeing as TBR uses IOS36 to downgrade another IOS(15) it's probably failing if your IOS36 is a cIOScorp one.
You may want to run UncIOScorp which will replace any affected IOS by the partial install you experienced. [Only Registered Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register]
Whether this will work with your compromised IOS though is hard to say. Let me know how it goes.

I went through this using LoadMii, it started all right but, when downloading something i get a message saying "HASH CHECK FAILED" and the application is turned off by it self and I am brought back to LoadMii home screen
