Homebrew Channel update
I have Homebrew Channel 1.0.3 and want to update it.
My Wii is 4.1 U with moded chip. I also have IOS 249 installed which is used to install wad files.
My question is that how can i update the homebrew channel to latest version 1.0.4 and will it be beneficial to update it or no need for it.
If your Wiis connected to the internet when you open up the HBC it should connect and if theres an update available it'll ask you to downlaod the update.

rushing to heaven ?!
It does not ask for the update for latest version. I have 1.0.3 version and I heard that latest version is 1.0.4.
From the wikipedia page. Homebrew Channel - WiiBrew
Author(s) Team Twiizers
On the top it shows 1.0.3 but in change log it shows 1.0.4.. See the screenshot
Fix the POWER button bug with BootMii IOS
SDHC cards are working again
SD performance has been increased again (regression was introduced in v1.0.2)
HBC works on all system menu versions now (stock 3.3 post Oct 23 has issues)
Fixed rare hangs when exiting HBC
Translation added for "Launch BootMii" button
Im in the HBC now and it hasn't asked me to update yet and I cant seem to find anything helpful on the Wiki page either.
So it is still unknown that how to update the channel.
Original question is remained unanswered.
To install v1.0.4 you need to run the hackmii installer v0.4-test1 from the apps folder on your sd card. The installer is available here HackMii installer v0.3
The new version of bootmii gave me a stack dump error though?

There is a 1.0.4 version, but the old one works fine so nothing you miss if you are on 1.03
it comes with bootmii 0.4, in which the bug "different wii nand
" is corrected
