Can't get more then one WiiMote to work at the sametime on the homebrew channel

I want to play two player games on some of the homebrew games but I can not get a 2nd WiiMote to connect. I have tried everything. Please help if you have and solved this issue. Thanks

I would go into the Wii system menu and see if you can sink the second controller there. Then go back into the homebrew channel.

try to sync your controllers. while in sys menu, press the red button next to te SD adapter, then press the red button next to the batteries in both wiimotes in order, they will sync for ever, wont need to do it with pressing home button

I have tried that and I can only get it to sync from the home button. I try to sync to different wiimotes and can only one to sync as player one but not the other two as player 2 and 3... I am not sure what else to do at this point. but thank you everyone for the help so far.

not from the home button, it won't work. if you do the red button thing, your wii motes will be synced forever and you won't need to do that again.

Sorry I did not explain myself well. I have tried the Red button sync but it does not work. But I know the wiimotes work cause I can do it through the home button. But as you know when you go in to the homebrew channel only the main wiimote stays synced. I just don't get it. I hit the damn red button on the wiimote then on the wii and the lights flash but don't sync.

you have to keep perssing the red button on teh wii next to the SD card, then the red button on the wii mote. it s a bit tricky but when you do it you won't have to sync it again through home button, you ll be able to power the wii up with both wiimotes
